"I remember being quite sick at The Metz in Las Vegas. A few days later, Roger and I both ended up going to the hospital in Modesto, CA for the Martian Flu or something. I always found the ability to go into auto pilot on such occassions. The show must go on, ya know...and it did."

"This particular day, as I look back on it, turned out to be the biggest show of my life (as far as attendance, 80,000). I guess it's kind of hard to keep a show like this a secret when Carlos Santana is headlining. I enjoyed all of the bands that day. I stayed for the entire show. Most of the time, after my particular timeslot, I would go back to the hotel after the show. Couldn't seem to pull myself away from the excitement for this one though. Hard to believe it's been almost two decades since this show. I guess it's time for another one."
