Wild at Heart is a creative compilation of songs by Jeff Howell. Jeff is an accomplished musician/ composer who resides in upstate, New York. Over the past two decades, his thumping bass expertise has earned him positions in classic national acts such as, Savoy Brown, Foghat and The Outlaws. He is frequently requested to provide his pulsating technique on other artist's projects. Jeff has toured extensively throughout the world, where the beat of his bass playing broke the language barrier by motivating the audience out of their seats. The same formula is applied to Wild at Heart. His songs emulate hit record, radio friendly, poppy hooks. Jeff's conception of a marketable form of music is fresh, spunky, straight-to-the-point songs.
The first five songs are sung by vocalist John Haines. His voice is soothing and stirring at the same time. Vibrant! Exciting! While never loosing his youthful appeal. Drummer, Ron Hurd, supplied ample grooves and energy and is a valuable asset to the Wild at Heart Project. This compilation is Jeff's conception of what good pop/rock songs should consist of. Guitarist, engineer, producer, Rich DePaolo (Beta Blue), is critical for alot of the textures of the recordings, and is most appreciated. The remaining six songs were recorded at various times throughout Jeff's career, and consists of former band mates, Billy Davis, vocals and Michael Ricciardi, drums. The Wild at Heart CD was recorded at Electric Wilburland in Newfield, NY.This compilation is just the tip of the iceberg, as the bag of songs is overflowing.

A place for all; where the spirit runs uninhibited in moments of spontaneity…
where instinct creates impulse.
