EVOLVER
is a four-piece rock group from the Finger Lakes/Binghamton region of
New York State. C
onceiving it's sound from heavy keyboard-oriented music of the late
60's, 70's & 80's,
Evolver plays a very cool range of classic material not often heard
(See set list below)
. Most people are surprised when they hear the selection of songs
played at our shows. Evolver is a refreshing taste for the musical palate,
filling a musical void that is appreciated by all.

The band was formed by bassist/vocalist, Jeff Howell,
whose ventures have placed him in bands of notoriety
(The Outlaws, Foghat, Savoy Brown and Feinstein (Dio/Rods)).

Keyboardist/vocalist extraordinaire, Bob Twining, has played with Feinstein
and New York based band, Giant Steps, just to name a few.
Bob's playing is only equally matched by Keith Emerson himself.

Stellar vocalist/drummer, Gary Armstrong, former member of Giant Steps
and various other New York bands, is a major force to be reckoned with.

Newest edition, guitarist/vocalist, Marc Ryan, is a well-sought after artist andsongwriter. He brings the right abilities to this sonically charged band.

Check out the schedule page
and come on out to catch a show.

Everyone that hears Evolver leaves dazed, but not confused.

Bob Twining

Keyboardist, Bob Twining is a mesmerizing asset to the Evolver lineup. The way in which he plays is the core of Evolver. His abilities are second to none. He has played for over 35 years professionally and has actually performed with Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake and Palmer. He has dominated the music scene in the Southern Tier of New York with various bands. Most notably, Feinstein, along with Jeff. You'll be guaranteed total satisfaction.

Gary Armstrong

Gary Armstrong, vocalist, drummer extraordinaire. Gary has played in top-notch bands as well. Most recently, a band with keyboardist, Bob Twining. When this band dissolved, Evolver formed. Gary is a stellar vocalist that is able of capturing the flavor of anything he chooses to sing. His solid drumming helps to drive the band along. 100% delivery!

MARC RYAN
Newest edition,
Marc Ryan (guitarist/vocalist), adds a very nice touch to round out the band. His soulful playing and singing are a refreshing asset .
